According to exclusive information from NOTICIAS, Johnny Depp will remain in Buenos Aires for a week to record several musical tracks at the studio of Jorge “Corcho” Rodríguez, known as La Roca Power Studio, located at his residence in San Isidro. This visit is connected to his previous stay in Punta del Este, where he was also invited by Rodríguez and his wife Verónica Lozano to the Yellow Rose ranch, where he enjoyed polo matches.
The friendship between “Corcho” Rodríguez and Depp is said to have begun thanks to a mutual photographer, Ross Halfin, known for his portraits of rock stars. They met last year during the festivals in Rome and San Sebastián, at the premiere of the movie Modi, directed by Depp.
In addition to their personal connection, Depp and Rodríguez share a commercial relationship, as Corcho is involved in the distribution of Depp‘s film in Latin America. They are also collaborating on the creation of a wine, the name, label design, and packaging of which will be finalized in the coming days.
